Annabot is a 2D sit-and-survive horror game with survival horror elements.
Your name is Anna. Descend into the sealed-away laboratories of your creator and survive the onslaught of his failed experiments. A short, spooky game that can be completed in about half an hour.

I beated this game and it was fascinating, loved the soundtrack!
I played this on linux with Bottles, works like a charm.

Really good game with great visuals, engaging gameplay and an interesting story. Some of the survival sections could be a bit rough with how long and relentless they can be but i did manage to get to the final boss. Sadly i found myself equipped with the flashlight and unable to switch back to the shotgun, preventing me from finishing the game (could have been that there was a button to switch but if thats the case i would have to play the game all over again to get another try)
You swap between the flashlight and shotgun by pressing F. A hint should've popped up when you left the room that you got the shotgun. Sorry if it didn't show up or if the hint wasn't clear! If you went the whole game without using the flashlight, that's seriously impressive.
thanks, but id say that was only possible because the game has some really good sound design. I could usually use that to guess how far away the ennemies were.

This is cool as hell! The gameplay was frustrating at first but not exactly that hard, though it could be the enemies not spawning in rng so you can learn the patterns, still I love the hand drawn arts and vibes of this so much (reminds me of Vanripper's games like Helltaker and Awaria). The bossfight section is definitely the best part, the story is simple too, can be fleshed out to be a longer game even. Wish you the best of luck with the game jam!
